Competitive Events
The biggest part of HOSA is arguably the capstone conference every year.
There are various events our members will be competing in including public health, health career photography, forensics medicine, etc.
This year the big competition will be held in Anaheim, from April 3-6.
Members will pick an event, either individual or collaborative, and will then prepare for the event they have chosen; events can require a test, portfolio, or presentation. We'll be conducting study sessions throughout the year in preparation for these events as well.
Then, our members will compete in their events at the regional level which will be completely online. If members have been selected to move on, then they will be notified and eligible to move on to the state competition after a second round of testing (depending on the event).

Stations and Workshops
We also conduct stations and workshops to not only help our members prepare for their events but also help other members explore different medical fields and expand their skill sets.

Volunteering and Community Service
In addition to competitive events and academics, we take great pride in our members' enthusiasm and dedication to making a positive impact on our community. Whether it's visiting local schools to lead biomedical classes, participating in medical research, or volunteering at our local hospitals, our club members are always hard at work.
One of our proudest achievements in our program is the Senior Mental Wellness Program.
