Hi everyone! Welcome back to yet another Member Spotlight: today, we'll be focusing on one of our senior members and officers, Sreya Komati.
Sreya Komati- External VP:
Interested in research, Sreya has been involved in multiple projects, the most recent involving a comprehensive meta-analysis detailing the efficacy of acupuncture on urological cancers. Working as Team Lead and Primary Author, she spoke at the 23rd World Congress on Integrative Health. Currently, she is working on further research, evaluating the effects of Meditation on Cardiovascular. She is the team lead of this research project as well, and has been working on the publication of both articles.
This past summer, she worked as a intern at Kaiser, shadowing multiple different departments and interacting with patients as well. Sreya also regularly volunteers both at the hospital and in her community.
We're proud to have Sreya working with us as one of our senior officers, and we're excited to see her continue to grow! Stay tuned for our next member spotlight 💫
