Welcome back to yet another member spotlight everyone!
During this week's member spotlight, we'll be meeting Vera Sahni, a junior member of our club.
We asked Vera to tell us a little bit about herself and why she's interested in the medical field. Here's what she said:
"Hey, I’m Vera! This year I’ve had a lot of fun volunteering at a dental practice. Dentistry wasn’t something I thought I’d be interested in, but through this experience I've been able to gain valuable insight into different careers within the practice."
Vera is also interested in other fields, and hopes to continue those interests before her senior year:
"Apart from dentistry, cancer is something that has always interested me and I can't wait to learn more during the summer at UCSD!"
