Hi everyone, today, we're back with yet another member spotlight! Today we'll be focusing on Aditya Iylli, a senior and aspiring dentist.
Here's what Aditya had to say when asked to describe his interest in the field of dentistry:
"My driving force in life is providing wellness and helping others to make a positive influence on the community around me."
This past summer, Aditya participated in a dental internship at Summit Dental and had the opportunity to work 9-5 for two months under the tutelage of Dr. Moussavi.
"During my time at Summit, I built a strong rapport and I consider her a mentor, a role model, and a close friend."- Aditya Iylli
Since then, Aditya has continued to work at Summit Dental, and has learned quite a bit:
"After this internship, I was able to land a job at Summit assisting patients; helping to suction and prep the patients before their procedures. Interacting with the patients provided me with skills like compassion and respect for patients. I gained life skills like precision and dedication from this internship. Working with Dr. Moussavi provided me insight into the profession of Dentistry. I was learning how to build connections with patients and strive for excellence in patient-care."
Aditya expressed his gratutude towards his mentor, Dr. Moussavi:
"As someone inclined towards acts of service, a career in dentistry started to resonate with my work ethic and interests as an aspiring wellness provider. Dr. Moussavi inspired me to explore other areas of health and wellbeing."
